My name is Kay Lacombe. I am a Belgian photographer with a passion for cinema and photographing the everyday life.
For years I photographed musicians. Having lost my fire in this project, I thought my journey would continue without photography.
In 2023 I was traveling through America. I had my camera with me, without a big desire of using it. When I did use my camera I started to look for color; something I had always struggled with in the past. I didn't really make any note worthy images, but it did ignite something within me to get going again. Now I have passion for both color and black and white!

My biggest inspirations and photography heroes are James Nachtwey, Sebastiao Salgado, Anton Coene, Stefaan Temmerman, Markus Andersen, Mark Power and Harry Gruyaert.
In the fall of 2026 I decided to go 100% for my photography: From now on I'm also available for commercial assignments. Business reportages, capturing events, making portraits, press, concerts: I'm up for it!
